Although it is a better representation of removing false ideals of Thanksgiving than I have seen in the past, it is VERY important to remember that "killed all of the Native Americans" is offensive and feeds into Native/Indigenous erasure. They were NOT ALL killed, they are STILL here, fighting every day to be recognized and noticed. They are placed in small reservations, are targeted for environmental injustices and although under went a mass genocide, are still living and trying to thrive. And stating "...killed all of the Native Americans" devalues, dehumanizes and removes a population of people that exist here in the Americas.
