ICYMI: ‘SNL’ on White People on ‘Formation’

Whatever your thoughts on Beyoncé’s “Formation,” it’s safe to say that a certain segment of the population lost its collective mind when the Houston-born singer sang lines like “I got hot sauce in my bag, swag” and exhorted police to “Stop shooting us.” In this short, “SNL” uses horror movie tropes to perfectly—and hilariously—illustrate the mania that took over some White people when they realized that perhaps the song wasn’t created for them.
