On Tuesday, four undocumented Arizona residents came out as ‘undocumented and unafraid’ in front of the Arizona court where Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio is being tried in a discrimination lawsuit accusing him of racially profiling Latinos. Members of Puente Arizona, Leti, Natally, Miguel, and Chela, came out of the shadows to tell Sheriff Arpaio they’re not running any more. "The very people Arpaio’s targeting came out and told him and the rest of the country that they’re not afraid, and that they want an end to his tactics, SB 1070 and other anti-immigrant attacks," said Julianne Hing, Colorlines.com’s immigration reporter, after seeing the videos.
