Last month we wrote about five artists who are keeping soul music alive. Now Cee Lo Green, who was featured in the story, has been nominated for record and song of the year and best urban/alternative performance of year.

Drake, who also featured in "The reluctant allure of rapper Drake" also has a few nominations of his own: best new artist, best rap solo performance and best rap album.

Eminem, who already has 11 Grammys, has the most nominations this year, with his Recovery album and accompanying singles earning 10 nominations in most of the major categories, including song, record and album of the year. His nominations include "Love the way you Lie," which he performed with Rihanna.

Lady Gaga, who denounced Arizona’s SB1070 at a concern in Phoenix last year, could take home six trophies, mostly in the pop and dance categories.

Green’s viral hit "Fuck You", which he is slated to perform as opposed to its cleaned-up version "Forget You", is nominated for four awards.

The 53rd Grammy Awards will be broadcast live from Staples Center in Los Angeles on Sunday, Feb. 13.
