Watch Jessica Williams 'Report' on McKinney While Wearing a Bikini Over Body Armor
In swift response to the recently-surfaced video of police violence in McKinney, Texas, "The Daily Show's" Jessica Williams did a hilarious report on community policing. Williams donned in a bikini over body armor and caustically addressed the violence as a form of "progress":
Williams: ...either way, this incident is progress.
Stewart: Is...uh, I'm sorry, uh...
Williams: What?
Stewart: Jessica, a cop pulled his gun out and dragged a 14-year-old girl to the ground by her hair.
Williams: Yeah, I know, white people always want to touch our hair, it's nothing new. [audience laughter] Jon, it's progress because a cop pulled a gun on a group of black kids and nobody's dead.
