By Qimmah Saafir May 07, 2015

A concert called “Rally 4 Peace” will happen this Sunday at Baltimore’s Royal Farms Arena. The concert takes place in the wake of the death of Freddie Gray who died in the custody of six Baltimore police officers.

According to a statement issued on May 5, Prince is set to perform at the event which is intended to be “a catalyst for pause and reflection.” Funk-rock group 3RDEYEGIRL will be performing alongside him. Prince is expected to debut “Baltimore,” the song he penned about the tragedy.

Prince is said to have already shared a bit of his much-anticipated track called “Baltimore” during a rehearsal in Minnesota’s Paisley Park last week. The song’s official lyrics are below.

NOBODY GOT IN NOBODY’S WAY
SO EYE GUESS U COULD SAY
IT WAS A GOOD DAY
AT LEAST A LITTLE BETTER THAN THE DAY IN BALTIMORE

DOES ANYBODY HEAR US PRAY?
4 MICHAEL BROWN OR FREDDIE GRAY PEACE IS MORE THAN THE ABSENCE OF WAR
ABSENCE OF WAR

R WE GONNA C ANOTHER BLOODY DAY?
WE’RE TIRED OF CRYIN’ & PEOPLE DYIN’
LET’S TAKE ALL THE GUNS AWAY

ABSENCE OF WAR- U AND ME
MAYBE WE CAN FINALLY SAY
ENUFF IS ENUFF IT’S TIME 4 LOVE

IT’S TIME 2 HEAR,
IT’S TIME 2 HEAR

THE GUITAR PLAY! (guitar solo)

Baltimore-based youth charities are expected to receive a portion of the event’s proceeds. Attendees of the rally are asked to wear gray attire.
