While we don’t know much about Marvel‘s upcoming "Luke Cage" series, we do know that it’ll have a dope score. 

Showrunner and executive producer Cheo Hodari Coker told Entertainment Weekly on Tuesday (April 12) that A Tribe Called Quest member Ali Shaheed Muhammad and composer Adrian Younge will score the upcoming Netflix show. Younge is perhaps best known for his soul- and Sergio Leone-inspired "Black Dynamite" soundtrack.

"It’s very sophisticated. I mean, it’s got a ’90s hip-hop vibe, but it’s really forward-thinking," Coker said on the red carpet at "Captain America: Civil War’s" Los Angeles premiere. The movie marks the theatrical debut of the Black Panther charecter. Cage, like Black Panther, is one of Marvel’s few Black protagonists to lead a project on television or film.

"I would like this to be, I mean, I know this is heavy but, ‘The Wire’ of Marvel television, because we really deal with a lot of different issues," said Coker, who also wrote the series’ first two episodes.

Mike Colter ("The Good Wife," "Zero Dark Thirty") plays the titular lead. It’s a role he debuted in Marvel’s "Jessica Jones" Netflix series last fall. Coker also said "Luke Cage" will be the first Marvel show based entirely in Harlem. Simone Missick ("Ray Donovan"), Alfre Woodard ("Cross Creek," "12 Years a Slave") and Mahershala Ali ("House of Cards," "The Place Beyond the Pines") will also appear in starring roles.
