Before Dave Chappelle Hosts ‘SNL,’ We Remember 5 of His Classic Bits on Race

For fans of Dave Chappelle and his longtime association with trailblazing Black musicians, tomorrow’s (November 12) episode of "Saturday Night Live" (SNL) should be a treat. The controversial comedian and "Chappelle’s Show" creator will make his hosting debut with A Tribe Called Quest as the musical guest.

 

The episode airs one day after the seminal hip-hop group is set to release its final album. The title, "We Got It From Here, Thank You for Your Service," was revealed in a profile by Touré for The New York Times
