The Mitt Romney campaign has tried to deflect criticism that in 1983 he rode from Boston to Canada with his family dog Seamus in a kennel on top of his roof and driving from Boston to Canada by reminding folks Obama ate dog once. President Obama’s memoir, "Dreams from My Father: A Story of Race and Inheritance," included a story about him being fed dog meat as a young boy in Indonesia with his stepfather, Lolo Soetoro. The Obama campaign shot back, with a spokesman suggesting the Romney team was attacking a child, since the Obama act in question took place when he was a kid. Now Senator John McCain has gotten in to the mix:
Good pic of my son Jimmy’s bulldog, Apollo – I’m sorry Mr. President, he’s not on the menu! politi.co/HVhK9Z
