nbanerjee1011.jpgNeelanjana Banerjee’s work has appeared in the The Literary Review, Asian Pacific American Journal, Nimrod, and the anthology, Desilicious. In 2007, she received an MFA in Creative Writing from San Francisco State University. She teaches creative writing throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and is currently a teaching artist with WritersCorps. Banerjee has worked in mainstream, ethnic and independent media for the past ten years. For over five years, she helped young people tell their own stories at YO! Youth Outlook Multimedia. She is an editor and blogger with the Asian American magazine Hyphen, where she now oversees the semi-annual Short Story contest.
