WATCH: Trevor Noah Dismantles Argument of Guest Who Says She Doesn’t See Color

By Kenrya Rankin Dec 01, 2016

The Daily Show With Trevor Noah” has zero qualms about asking tough questions. But it was a rather simple one that unraveled the argument of yesterday’s (November 30) guest, conservative talkshow host Tomi Lahren.

When host Trevor Noah pressed his guest about her views on the Black Lives Matter movement—she calls protestors murderous, anti-police rioters in the interview and previously equated the group with the Ku Klux Klan—Lahren said: “Because I criticized a Black person or the Black Lives Matter movement doesn’t mean I’m anti-Black. It does not mean I don’t like Black people or that I’m racist,” she said. “I don’t see color. I go after Hillary Clinton and she’s as White as they come.”

Noah then said, “You don’t see color? So what do you do at a traffic light?” The audience promptly lost it.

It was just one exchange in an interview that saw Noah unflinchingly taking down Lahren’s arguments and left all parties involved still trending on Twitter the morning after.

Early in the interview, Lahren said that “sometimes people just need to be called on their shit.” It appears that Noah took that idea and ran with it.
