Antonio “Big Daddy Kane” Hardy showed out yesterday (February 19) when he dropped bars for the NPR Tiny Desk concert series.

The seasoned MC—who released his first album, “Long Live the Kane,” nearly 30 years ago—guided a stripped-down backing band through three of his biggest hits. Watch him perform “Smooth Operator,” “Ain’t No Half-Steppin’” and “Raw” before gifting the NPR audience with a bonus freestyle.
