Sybrina Fulton, Trayvon Martin’s mother, was interviewed on NBC’s "Today" show on Thursday morning–less than a day after the shooter, George Zimmerman, was charged with second-degree murder in the shooting of her son. When the host asked what she would tell Zimmerman if she came face to face with him, Fulton said she thought a person should apologize if they are remorseful. Then she expressed words that are making headlines this morning. "I believe it was an accident," Fulton said. "I believe that it just got out of control, and he couldn’t turn the clock back."
