USA Network revisits the two most infamous killings in hip hop history with “Unsolved: The Murders of Tupac Shakur and The Notorious B.I.G.

The network website notes that “Unsolved,” which premiered last night (February 27), dramatizes two real life Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) investigations into the rappers’ deaths in separate drive-by shootings. Director Anthony Hemingway (“The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story”) executive produces alongside Greg Kading, a former LAPD detective whose task force investigated the murders. Marcc Jones—who portrayed Tupac Shakur in “Straight Outta Compton”—and newcomer Wavvy Jones star.
