By Qimmah Saafir Mar 30, 2015

Actress Stephanie Sigman will star in the upcoming Bond installment, "Spectre," due out this November. The Obregon, Sonora, Mexico-born actress will be the first Mexican Bond girl in the history of the franchise. Sigman hopes her character, Estrella, will open doors in Hollywood for herself and others.

I think there’s going to be a big opening, I expect this project will open a higher, different door to another path.

The 28-year-old actress says that starring in the 24th installment of the series, which is partially being shot in Mexico City, is a dream job.

They ask me if I ever imagined it, and I have a very extensive imagination. So, I’ve imagined many things in life, but sometimes you don’t think something is really going to happen and when it happens, it’s very satisfying.*
