We asked yesterday (August 18) if you thought Team USA would make it to 100 medals by this weekend. It turns out the answer is a resounding "yes," thanks to several new medals at the Rio games, including a few from runners of color. Here’s the roundup:

Dalilah Muhammad, Track & Field
Like U.S. Olympic teammate Ibtihaj Muhammad, Delilah Muhammad defied those who question a Muslim’s place in this country with an exceptional athletic performance. She took home a gold medal and became the first American woman to win the Olympic 400m hurdles race.

Ashton Eaton, Track & Field
Eaton won a gold medal in the men’s decathalon, successfully defending his title from the 2012 London games.

Ashley Spencer, Track & Field
Spencer rounded out the women’s 400m hurdles in third, winning the bronze medal.

Those three medals added to Team USA’s present total of 100, as well as #POCMedalWatch’s total of 48.
