Five-part documentary “Visible: Out on Television” debuts February 14 and traces how the LGBTQ+ movement shaped televisoin and vice versa. Though the cast of characters is largely White, the film includes the voices of several activists and creators of color, including writer Janet Mock, comedian Margaret Cho and trans rights activist Miss Major. Other stars who share their stories of invisibility, struggle and eventual breakthrough include Billy Porter, Lena Waithe, Don Lemon, Sara Ramirez, George Takei, Raven-Symoné and the doc’s executive producers Wilson Cruz and Wanda Sykes.
