Kids may say the darndest things, but they’re also full of untainted insight that provides for maximum "Aww"-ing. Bluecentric.com has compiled a list of responses from 4-8 year olds who were asked the simple (but not really) question, "What does love mean?" The painfully cute answers include adorable anecdotes and impressive intuition. I don’t know about you, but I sure couldn’t have articulated a reply as well as Billy, who had only been alive for four years when he said, "When someone loves you, they say your name different. You just know that your name is safe in their mouth."

It didn’t take more than a bit of Googling to learn that the collection’s been around for a while, making the cyber-rounds as one of those chain emails your grandparents send out, but on a cuteness scale of 1 to Sleeping Puppies it ranks pretty darn high, so it’s absolutely worth revisiting.

Eight-year-old Jessica seemed to sum up Colorlines’ "Celebrate Love" mission with her response. "You really shouldn’t say ‘I love you’ unless you mean it. But if you mean it, you should say it a lot. People forget."
