Cast members from "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" will reunite for a one-time television special to celebrate the hit show’s 30th anniversary on HBO Max, the streaming company recently announced on Twitter. The timing couldn’t better, as many more can now relate to the show’s theme song which told a story of how "life got flipped, turned upside down."

Fans of the fish-out-water comedy—of a young Black teen moving from West Philadelphia into a Bel-Air mansion—will get to drop back into the world of Will (Will Smith), his buddy (DJ Jazzy Jeff) and beloved butler Geoffrey (Joseph Marcell) as well as the rest of the Banks family (Alfonso Ribeiro, Tatyana Ali, Karyn Parsons, and Daphne Maxwell Reid), Deadline reported. James Avery, who played the hot-headed patriarch Uncle Phil, passed away in 2013. 

The reunion will be filmed on September 10, the exact date of the show’s 1990 premiere on NBC, Deadline reported, and according to CNN, will be "an unscripted special looking back at the series and the cultural impact the series has had since its debut." The lookback is set to air around Thanksgiving. For anyone who can’t wait for the special, they can catch up on the humor from all past shows on HBO Max, which is home to the complete series.
