#FacingRace Livestream: Jose Antonio Vargas Keynote

This year’s Facing Race conference expands the conversation surrounding multicultural movements toward racial justice just days after the general election. More than 2,000 attendees have arrived to explore how they can build a racially equitable world.

Today (November 12), Jose Antonio Vargas will present the second of two conference keynotes. Vargas is a journalist who worked on a Pulitzer-prize winning team at The Washington Post. Now, he is CEO of Define American, a nonprofit media organization that uses storytelling to combat the dominant immigrant narrative. His latest venture is #EmergingUs, a start-up digital media outlet that covers race via a multicultural lens with a specific focus on immigrants. Watch him speak via livestream below.
