Wakanda will rise again in Hollywood next month for the 50th NAACP Image Awards ceremony. The NAACP announced nominees yesterday (February 13), one day after the civil rights organization celebrated its 110th anniversary.
"Black Panther" dominates the list with a total of 14 nominations, including Outstanding Motion Picture; Ensemble Cast, Breakthrough Performance for Winston Duke and Letitia Wright; Directing and Writing for Ryan Coogler (the latter shared with Joe Robert Cole); and Supporting Actress for Wright, Danai Gurira and Lupita Nyong’o.
