Along with Alto Arizona, Rage Against The Machine’s Zack De La Rocha has made a PSA in response to Arizona Senate Bill 1070, a bill that would dramatically expand police powers to stop, question and detain individuals for not having proper identification. Rocha makes a compelling case agaisnt the bill, "It seeks to turn the entire state of Arizona in to an island of hate, where to be brown is to be suspected of a crime," he says in the video. Rocha is working with Alto Arizona to promote Sunday’s "Stop SB1070" protest in the state capital and a targeted email campaign that sends messages to Governor Brewer urging her to veto Senate Bill 1070.
