The gritty trailer for "Creed," the latest film in the "Rocky" anthology, hit the Internet yesterday. Reuniting director Ryan Coogler and actor Michael B. Jordan for the first time since "Fruitvale Station," the movie will feature Jordan as Adonis Johnson, the son of famed Rocky Balboa opponent Apollo Creed, living in contemporary Philadelphia and training under the tutelage of Balboa (played again by Sylvester Stallone) for the top boxing title.

Besides Jordan and Stallone, the film stars Tessa Thompson ("Selma") as Johnson’s love interest and Phylicia Rashad as his mother and Creed’s widow. Check out the trailer above, and be sure to watch out for the film’s November 25th release.
