Wilhelmina Slater Vanessa Williams was on Barbara Walter's "The View" yesterday and she came so close to having a teachable moment with Barbara! Williams talked about "The Blind Side" and Hollywood's obsession with white characters saving people of color but was interrupted by Walters talking gibberish, "[The Blind Side] was a wonderful story, and it was a story of closeness between two races," she said. Vanessa Williams should've said "yes, Barbara, but can you name a movie where Black people saved white people?"
