Today’s Daily Love Goes to You, Our Readers

We end each day with a dose of love. Today, it's your turn. Send us your images of people loving--in relationships, in family, in community, in movements. Wherever. Just show us the love!

We all have our loves. We have our muses, those who push us forward and make us better. This week we’ll be featuring daily love stories inspired by reader submissions.

I’m starting off today’s post, but the rest of the week we’ll be posting stories and pictures that come from you, our readers.

My grandmother has been my muse ever since I can remember. Lucky for me she’s also always been the most open minded, the most caring and with the most unconditional love for me.

Growing up I spent a lot of time with my grandmother. When mom would go work in the hills, it was my grandmother who would take care of me. She fostered my creativity and my love for taking portraits and to this day she still sits in front of my camera even though Alzheimers disease prevents her from remembering my name. But even in her current state we still share this personal connection that continues to inspire me to be a better, more open-minded, caring, creative human being.

Now we want to hear from you. If you’ve got an image that says love, send it to us. Email your original pictures or illustrations to [email protected] and be sure to include your name in the email so we can credit your content. If you’d like to add a few sentences to include as a caption please put it in the body of the email. (Please only send us images you own the rights to… there’s no love in theft.)

And visit Colorlines.com/celebrate-love to look at past daily love stories.

Happy Valentine’s Day.

xoxo
