Despite apparent evidence of cut and looped footage, Texas officials say that the video of Sandra Bland’s arrest was not edited. Sandra Bland died in police custody on July 13, 2015.

Texas Department of Public Safety spokesperson Tom Vinger told NBC News that the irregularities in the 52-minute dashcam video were caused by a “technical issue during posting,” and said the department is working to correct the video.

Issues in the video include cars that appear and disappear, and a tow truck driver twice shown making an identical walk toward the police cruiser twice—all while the audio appears to keep playing without a glitch.

In an interview on The Last Word With Lawrence O’Donnell Wednesday night, the family’s attorney Cannon Lambert revealed that he received a text from the Waller Country assistant district attorney, saying they want the family to transport her body back to Texas for another autopsy because the first autopsy was “defective.” The family already secured an independent autopsy and will not send her body back. They are planning to bury her in Illinois on July 25, 2015.
