Facing Race 2010, organized by ColorLines’ publisher the Applied Research Center, brought together nearly 800 racial justice advocates in Chicago last month to hash out the future of the movement. It closed by bringing together four progressive heavyweights: Van Jones from the Center for American Progress, Voto Latino’s Maria Teresa Kumar, anti-racist activist and author Tim Wise and Rinku Sen, the executive director of Applied Research Center and publisher of ColorLines. Check out video highlights from that discussion here, and head over to ARC.org/FacingRace to watch the full thing.
