Magnetic North’s New Video Shows Love for API Heritage Month

It's a collaboration with hundreds of fans. And we promise, it'll warm your heart.

Today is one of the last days of Asian-Pacific American Heritage Month, and there’s no better way to wrap up the celebration than with Magnetic North & Taiyo Na’s "I Got My" music video. Featuring clips of over a hundred different folks in the Asian-American community lip-synching over the group’s rhymes about heritage, it is no wonder the video took more than two years to compile.

The community members featured sing, rap and bop their heads to the tune, whether they are entertainers, activists, students, dancers, writers, or community organizers. If you look closely, you can see a little kid and a senior citizen partake in this community-love fest.

Much props goes to reader Tatiana Ormaza’s for bringing this video to our attention!
