When it comes to Lady Gaga, legendary performer Grace Jones isn’t impressed. The trendsetting 62-year-old artist, who’s been listed as one of Gaga’s biggest influences, told reporters this week that she’s not interested in any collaborations with the top 40 phenom, saying, " I’d just prefer to work with someone who is more original and someone who is not copying me, actually.” Jones is just the latest and greatest female performer of color to publicly call Gaga out. A few weeks ago, British born performer M.I.A. accused Gaga of hijacking her politically infused style. "She’s not progressive, but she’s a good mimic," the Sri Lankan singer told British reporters.
