The ColorLines team is migrating to Chicago this week for our publisher’s [Facing Race 2010](https://colorlines.com/archives/2010/09/facing_race_2010_chicago.html) conference. Starting Thursday, in addition to our regular news blogging and features, we’ll also be looping you into the action in Chicago. We’ll have daily roundups from the event and video of the great plenary speakers, including keynote speaker Melissa Harris-Lacewell. Follow the Facing Race 2010 hot topic in the site header to keep up. And hop on the Twitter hashtag #FR10 And if you’re joining us in Chicago, be sure to check out the sessions that ColorLines editorial staff will be leading. I’ll join a Saturday plenary discussion, led by Racialicious’ Latoya Peterson, on covering racial justice in the new media world. News editor Jamilah King and reporter/blogger Julianne Hing will lead workshops on Saturday as well, as will resident wonk and investigative reporter Seth Freed Wessler. I’ll offer more detail on all of these sessions as we get closer to them. In the meantime, be sure to stop by the ColorLines table starting Friday to say hello to us in person! We’d love to hear your thoughts on what we should be covering this fall and winter.
